AppSource solution on on-premise instance

Hello,

I need to get CRM solution from AppSource into CRM 2016 on-premise. I couldn't find much information, but I found that AppSource is supported on latest on-premise version (8.2.). Does anyone know how to do it?

    Yes it is possible to have appsource solutions on CRM Onpremise version also. Features introduced in the December 2016 update to Dynamics 365 online and on-premises both.

    Yes, this is the same url where I read that it is possible, but I need to know how to actually do it?

    You cannot login to AppSource with AD login used for CRM, and I don't see an option how to access AppSource directly from CRM instance.

    I searched a bit and landed on this thread, not sure if the situation is still the same.

    "The apps in AppSource are only available for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Business Edition. They can't be deployed from AppSource to an on-premise or private deployment. I would recommend contacting the publisher of the app as many of them also have on-premise versions available as well."
