    Hi

    Do  you mean  the scope applied on a business rule?

    There are three options possible for the scope of a business rule;

    1.Single Form Scope – Use this when a business rule specifically applies to a single form. It involves selecting a specific form name.

    2.All Forms – Use this to apply the business rule to all forms. (Including main and quick create forms.)

    3.Entity – Use this to run the business rule at a form and server level. (Server level being triggered by a create or update of data.) Useful if the rule is to be applied not only on forms but when data is imported.

    I hope this helps ....

    Entities form a vital piece of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM framework. Essentially, entities are used to model and manage business data. Some common entities that most Dynamics CRM users are familiar with are Account, Case, Campaign, Contact, Lead, and Opportunity

    Entity scope business rules run on all forms.

    Hi Rushi,

    Entities are used to model and manage business data in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. A CRM entity is equivalent to a database table.

    See: https://www.tutorialspoint.com/microsoft_crm/microsoft_crm_entities_and_records.htm

    The scope of the business rule can be either Entity or All Forms. When we select the scope as Entity, it executes at the server side. The business rule fires whenever that entity is created or saved either from the form inside CRM or from any web application.
