You can automatically generate a PDF report from the Portal using the 1 Click pdf app
which is a is a productivity solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 that easily converts reports to PDF, Word or Excel documents.

I am using ZetPDF SDK number of time. It is too easy to develop PDF functionality using this SDK. You can download the SDK from here. (ZetPDF.com - PDF library for .NET, Windows Forms, ASP.NET, Mono, WPF, Silverlight)
one approach could be to email the pdf document to Customer.
Basically on some button click on portal...you could call a custom workflow... which would email the pdf document to Customer.
