how to get back of lost attachment file stored with Media data types?

Hi Guys,

We are facing one problem today morning, we have re-installed one of our extension with new version, without deleting the data from the the old one installed extension and the old one extension has uninstalled and unpublished now.

We have a customizations with this extension to store incoming documents attachment file from blob field to custom Media field and clear the blob values from the Incoming attachment table, what happened now, we are not able to get back our media attachment, as I saw in Table information all the Media attachment file has gone, means Mediafield.hasvalue is returning false every time.

any other way out to get back those attachment back? apart from the backup restoration.

I think this will not fulfill my requirement, I am looking some thing that I can get back my attachment which was stored in Media custom field in Tenant Media table.
