New Sales Prices

Hi all,

As most probably everyone knows, Microsoft is changing the way how the sales price functionality works / is implemented. Does anyone know when this will be completely enforced, please? As per MS Documentation, we found the below;

Does this mean that this will be enforced with the 2021 Release wave 1 (BC version 18)?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    In BC today, you can utilize the new Sales Pricing Experience and it will be updated further in future releases (BC 18). Note that it has to be activated, in Feature Management, then when the update is loaded it will update the additional features. You can see below mine is turned off. As you see my New Sales Pricing Experience notes the feature will automatically be enabled in update 20.0 Q2 2022. I will defer to my other colleagues on this forum who might have heard other information.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    RE: New Sales Prices

    Hi Steve. I would like to extend pricing in an onprem version of BC. All the code and necessary objects are there but it is not listed in Feature Management. The setup page is listed when I search for it but when I try to run it I get a message indicating that the feature is not enabled. Do you know how to enable it if it is not listed in the Feature Management list?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Are you on the latest version for OnPrem?

    If you are on an earlier version the GUI for the new price list functionality did not have a GUI so you will have to add the GUI yourself or upgrade to a later version where GUI is available.
