Email Notification to Owner of the Account

Hi All, 

       I have a requirement, When an appointment is created for an account, the notification mail should be sent to the owner of the account, can anybody, explain how it can be done, is it possible to do it workflow?

    Hi Ganesh,

    You can definitely do that using workflow.

    run this workflow on create of appointment and then add step to send email.

    in the email populate the "from" to a queue which can send email and "to" to dynamics user email address or direct user.

    and add your content to the body.

    Hi.

    You can do it with a workflow.

    Starting checking condition where "Regarding (Account)" - "Account" - "Contains data"

    If that is true, add the "Send Email" step, and send the email to: Look for "Regarding (Account)" -  "Owner".
