Change Tracking dimension for a Product

Hello,
 
Is there a way to change the tracking dimension for a released product? We plan to implement serial numbers for a few existing products in D365.

    Hi, you can change tracking dimension group of a product from below option. But it can be done for new product or on-hand quantity must be zero of a product.

    You can change only if the setup like to like, in your case if the costing is done not till serial number and you want to change, it wont allow you to change in any cost.
