Fields are not show in a Word Template Report

When I print the SOP Blank Picking Ticket Order Entered Template, it does not show the comment, even they are available in the report, something weird is when I print the standard version it does displays the comments.

Any idea?

    Have you looked at the template in Word Developer tab to verify that the field is in the template?

    Yes, it is there and in the report too. But when I print the report the comments doesn't appear.

    The field appear but blank, do you know if there is any restriction about the field position in the report, I mean if there is any diference if I print it in the header or in the body, or in the footer?

    I don't think there is any such restriction as to the placement of the field on the report but I believe if the field length on the report is less than the contents in the field, it will not print.

    Are you referring to the line item comment or the overall comment? In the developer tab, as Frank said, you can tell which section the field is looking for. Make sure you have the correct field in the right section.

    Another thing to look at is whether the field is actually picking up correctly.  If you turn on Design Mode when in the Word report design, all the fields should show with tags of the same colour (either Red or Blue - I think blue means they are all fine - but can't remember off the top of my head).  If you have fields that are showing different, then pull them off the report and add them back in.

    Another similar issue I had just last week is that the width of the field in Report Writer also matters.  The Word Report picks up this width - so make sure all the comment fields and item description fields are quite wide in the Report Writer layout and then reimport the xml to your Word document.

    It is also possible that somehow you have deleted bookmarks from the report which will also impact.

    If you do not have Bookmarks enabled I would highly suggest doing this as they can be easily removed without you knowing it (deleting a row etc).  To enable Bookmarks go to File | Options | Advanced | Scroll Down to Show Document Content | Check the box for Show bookmarks.  This will print as a gray capital i.  They will not print when you send them to a printer.  

    You would need to compare your modified version to the original version to see if all the bookmarks were still in place.
