how i can create maximum discount for specific item which not effect with the POS permission ?
i have buyer group need to put discount for it example 28% , and any POS user cannot add more than 28%

How to control the maximum discount on group of items let say to maximum of 29% while the sales man is permitted to give a discount percent more than that for example if he has 50%? and I have tried to do so from trade agreement but it makes the discount applied already on the item once I add it to the POS sales. How can I create maximum discount for a specific item without effect POS permissions?

There is no option OOB to allow/restrict discount % by item by permission group.

You will need to create a permission group for the buyer group and set their maximum discount to 100%. This will provide them access to provide 100% discount on all products where a discount can be applied.

If it is a constant %, you could use a promotion with affiliation, which will again be a fit.
