Unable to retire assets that were set up in a prior period...(Enter Prior Year Adjustment for CORPORATE with two decimals)

A client of mine got this error the other day and can't seem to figure out why. They can retire assets set up in 2015 but when it was set up in 2014 they seem to encounter the error.

I have checked that they have been fully depreciated up to 2015 and the client has assured me that they have.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
