Looking for a report that shows each time the price in the price list was modified.

    Price changes are not retained.

We've done a lot of customisations of GP Pricing and might have something that would help. Let me know which prices you want to keep history for (window name etc) and I'll see what we have.

Thanks for the reply, Ian.  We were hoping to be able to see all changes made to the Price field in the Item Price List Maintenance window.

Hi Pete, thats in standard pricing. All of our work has been done in extended pricing. Your best bet would be to write a trigger that populates a table with the item number, currency, UOM, price etc. and date/time stamp every time you add / update a price.

Then you can query this custom table to show a full price history for an item. We have done something similar for extended pricing.

    Hope this helps.

Just a thought. You could use audit trails to monitor and capture each time a price is inserted / updated. Won't give you the price change, but will at least tell you who made a change and when.

    Ian.

Ian, thank you for the suggestions.  May try the trigger as the audit trails would not provide the actual price info

    Thanks again.
