Hey everyone,

I managed to somehow change the Satndard View Name in a productive environment.

It happened while publishing a Workspace but I have no clue how it happened.

Can anyone tell me if its happened to you and if I can fix it somehow? I though it was impossible but here I am.

Thank you so much in advance!
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Not sure how it happened, but from experience I know you can delete a standard view. It will recreate itself when the user navigates to the form.
As System administrator you should go to User, find the user > User options of the user > Personalization. Find the view of the form and click the Clear button.

    Best regards, Tamira

It is not possible to rename standard views and have it affect other users, see attached screenshot.

What you have most likely done is to rename either one of your own views, or a personal view that has been published.
In that case, you will have to have one from your IT department publish it to you again, or you rename it back manually.

If you really do have renamed a standard view, you can unpublish and publish the views using System Administration - Setup - Personalization. But here I think it's good that you test it in your test environment first.

    Hmm... This is indeed interesting.
Keep us posted. Think your best bet is to raise a ticket.

    Hi,

Looking at the issue it looks like your usage data was cleared for all users.

As Jonas mentioned it is not possible to rename standard views. When we modify a standard view it needs to be saved and gets classified under personal views.  We can try re-publishing the personal views, in this case.

    A few other suggestions:
You can try using features like Reset feature call-outs in case if you are using pop-out windows.

    A few questions:
    1. Was there a database refresh in this environment where you see this issue?
    2. Was the usage data cleared for all users (for issues faced by users?)
    3. Are these pop-out windows or new features that you are targeting?

Hope this helps. Happy to answer questions, if any.
