Sequence Configuration (Dynamics 365 Sales)

Posted on by 20

Hi all,

Relatively new to Dynamics (doing my training and certification soon), and currently getting everything set up for our sales team.

I am attempting to set up a plethora of pre-built sequences and am leveraging the existing templates in Dynamics 365.

As an example, we would like to set up the Account Renewal sequence that will automatically trigger a number of tasks, outbound emails, etc. for the account owner of a particular account that is approaching a renewal. When navigating to create a sequence, I am faced with the following error:

"Enable related entity

Related entity is not supported. Please enable the entity in Settings"

Dataverse Search is on, and have added (what we believe) are the relevant entities to the configuration table. Despite saving and retrying, we're still faced with this error. Any thoughts / guidance?

NB: I tried to search the forums and Microsoft knowledge base first, so if I have missed it, happy to take a look at any pointers there too.

    Hi DynamicsUser010123,

I think it should be a matter of entity configuration.

It is possible that the entity is missing or that the form is incorrectly selected.
If you are using the opportunity table, then it would be best to add the subsequent order form as well.
