hello everyone,

There is scenario where I need to convert a particular custom SSRS Report to PDF using C#.

Following are the challenges that I am facing

  • Not able to put filter in report using c#.
  • I have implemented Power automate flow but that flow is not feasible and giving error of Response is not in JSON format.
Please suggest any possible solution for this.

Thank you

You're asking in a forum about D365 in general and you didn't mention which D365 product you're using. Please add this information.

Also note that you gave us very little information about what you did and the problem. You'll need to elaborate on that.

    Hi,

Regarding your question on how to Convert Custom SSRS report to PDF using c#, I would like to ask you a question on how to do this.

Our team searched for information and found an article posted on the dynamics-chronicles website that describes in detail how Dynamics 365 can programmatically export a PDF from an SSRS report, which we hope will help you with your question.
The link to the article is as follows
Dynamics 365 Programmatically export PDF from SSRS report | Dynamics Chronicles (dynamics-chronicles.com)

In addition, regarding your second question, I am getting an error message "Response is not in JSON format" when using Power Automate. Could you tell me the exact steps of the process you are building? We are not sure at which step of the process you are experiencing this issue.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
