App to push QR code data into CRM?

Hi,

 I've been asked to see if there is a solution that will scan QR codes and push the info into CRM. I know there is an app called scan fizz that will do this for Salesforce. Is there a CRM equivalent that anybody has experience of?

We are using CRM online btw.

I'm new to the forum and new to CRM, so please be gentle :)

    Hi Mahadeo,

    Thanks for the response I've taken a look at the links and they seem to be about generating QR codes.

    What I need is an application which gives you the ability to scan a QRcode and push the decoded data into Dynamics CRM.

    Hi Mahadeo,

    what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

    I could suggest Resco Mobile CRM www.resco.net/MobileCRM

    It's a mobile app that supports QR code scanning - reading of QR codes and filling in a CRM field based on it, searching based on a code in lookup, and meCard vCard support to populate fields for a new CRM contact.

    Hi Zuzana,

    I'm after the solution rather than Mahadeo :) The scenario is that our marketing team want to be able to scan QR code on delegates badges at an event. This QR code contains the delegates registration and contact details. They want this information inputted into CRM as a lead.

    I'll take a look at the resco solution.

    Hi Pablo, sorry for the mix-up.

    I understand now - you can do that with Resco Mobile CRM. As a matter of fact, we did just that last Convergence and plan to use it going forward.
