Do business rules created in CRM online execute in a CRM Portal webpage?

    Hello Vinvinvin,

    No, CRM portal doesn't support Business rules that are applied on forms.

    At the moment there is no current support for Business Rules in CRM Portals - However this is a very good idea and i would suggest that you raise it at crmideas.dynamics.com/ideas

    i caught the discussion you provided before posting here.

    i asked because we are using microsoft crm portal add-on and not adx.

    unfortunately, i cannot test on my end. configuration of our portal is taking too long

    if the scope of the Business Rule is set to "Entity" the rule runs also on server side, thus will be executed for changes made inside the portal (for example when you update a record)

    hi guido,

    rules i created are for locking fields and setting field values on selection of an optionset.

    it does not work. i also tried setting the scope to the specific custom form i am using for the portal but it did not work as well.
