We have a custom plugin which calls SharePoint API to create folders or set shares. The authentication is done via SAML. Recently the plugin starts to throw this error:

System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault]: The 'Value'='<null>' part of the cookie is invalid.
I stumbled upon a thread which is discussing similar issues here: The 'Value'='<null>' part of the cookie is invalid. : r/Dynamics365

The current assumption is that this error is caused by a latest change done by Microsoft: MC1097272 - Microsoft 365 Upcoming Secure by Default Settings Changes | Microsoft 365 Message Center Archive

Unfortunately the error only appears on a dedicated tenant. Whereas it is not reproducible in our tenant meaning the authentication still seems to work here.

Is there some configuration on tenant level (or SharePoint) to solve this error? Or is it only a matter of time until it also won't work any longer on our tenant?

likely a breaking change on that tenant that’s disabling or altering legacy (cookie/SAML-based) auth paths to SharePoint Online.  SharePoint’s FedAuth/rtFa cookies. Recent hardening can stop issuing one of these cookies or issue it in a way your code treats as <null>, triggering The 'Value'='<null>' part of the cookie is invalid.

Thanks for the Input. Do you have any idea which change on the tenant could cause this issue?
