No you can't do it, you need server machine to install CRM, or you can setup your VPC for the same, you can get supported software list here technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699671(v=crm.6).aspx

    RE: Dynamics CRM 2013 Installation

    Hi Clyde,

You cannot directly install Dynamics CRM on Windows 8 system, you need to have a Windows Server + Domain Controller.

However, since you are using Windows 8, you can make use of the Hyper-V Roles available with it. Hyper-V provides you the ability of having a Virtualized System.

You need to enable the role on your machine.

To enable Hyper‑V on Windows 8

    1. In Control Panel, tap or click Programs, and then tap or click Programs and Features.

    2. Tap or click Turn Windows Features on or off.

    3. Select Hyper‑V, tap or click OK, and then tap or click Close.

    4. Restart your system

Once you have enabled the Hyper-V, you can create a Virtual Environment for yourself. You need to have Windows Server

    RE: Dynamics CRM 2013 Installation

    Hello Clyde,

I would like to confirm that Microsoft Dynamics CRM (all versions) can only be installed on a Server OS (Eg: Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2012 Server etc.)

Please refer the compatibility list here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3018360

I you do not have the access to a server OS, you can use Hyper-v or VMware.

    Thank you.

    Vineet Nair.
