We're attempting to connect an Ingenico I6550 device to process credit cards & signatures. (not debit cards) Every time we try to connect it to the POS terminal, we get this error:

Warning 946: The pin pad was not accessible. It may be locked by another application. Do you wish to continue ?

Can anyone advise me on what I can do to get this thing working??

    Hello,

We are RMS 2.0 certified and have successfully deployed the Ingenico 6550 with RMS 2.0. We can help you get setup if you have not resolved this issue.

     Hi leiaduva,

Have you installed the OPOS drivers for the device and configured it in the OPOS setup? I would recomment contacting Ingenico directly to get the latest OPOS drivers. Also make sure that you name the devices in OPOS and then create correct corresponding names for the devices in SO Manager>Database>Registers>Register List.

    Hope this helps,

     BK
