How to turn on Lot Tracking for a GP Item that was already set up to NOT be lot tracked without zeroing inventory

Hello,

We have been running without having Lot Tracking turned on for a very long time. We would like to start implementing turning on Lot Tracking, but I can't find any good directions on how to do that without someone trying to sell us some new software. We would like to use the Dynamics GP we currently have, and start using the functionality it is capable of . Are there any good directions that we can download with a step by step process on how to turn on Lot Tracking without having to remove inventory or Manufacturing Orders. If there is a video I can watch or any help that can be provided, that will be very helpful. Thank you in advance.
