Forward mailbox handling multiple attachments

Hello all,

Regarding the forward mailbox option for incoming email in CRM:

  • Is it possible to forward multiple (.msg) emails as attachments to the forward mailbox?
  • Will all of the attached email messages be processed by the email router, which is configured to poll the forward mailbox?

In short: Does the Forward Mailbox option support multiple attachments handling?

    Hi Havey

    1) When you setup the Forwarding Rules in CRM this is exactly what happens the Emails get forwarded as email attachments The crm mailbox account needs to have Send As & Impersonation privileges on all CRM Online user mailboxes, so that this single mailbox can provide access to CRM Online to process all Inbound and Outbound Messages for the CRM Online Users.

    2) Yes All the emails will get processed as there is only one email attached per message, Also thanks for Aaron Gumbs who answered this for you via twitter :)
