i  am getting below error

Microsoft Dynamics NAV

The SMTP mail system returned the following error: "The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.".

i have blocked internet at my Nav server. Only Smtp.gmail.com is allowed .After given the internet access  . issue resolved .Please  help me in resolve the problem i cannot give internet permission

    Seems like you have a network issue and that opening for smtp.gmail.com is not enough.

    Look at your firewall logs and see what traffic is blocked when you try to send e-mail.

    The outgoing SMTP server, smtp.gmail.com, requires TLS. Use port 465, or port 587 if your client begins with plain text before issuing the STARTTLS command.
