Set Vendor General Business Posting Group via API

I am creating vendors via the Business Central API and I do not see anywhere that exposes the option to set the General Business Posting Group or the Vendor Posting Group.  Can someone tell me how I expose those to the API so I can retrieve them and set them if missing?

    Create your own api by copying existing standard  Vendor API ( Page 5472 "Vendor Entity) then add all the extra fields you need.

    Although that specific link is not what answered my question, it got me on the right path:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../admin-configuring-api-template

    API Setup in Business Central is what did it in the end.  I was able to set a default value for those two fields.  Now the fun comes into play when I need logic behind that.  In the API Setup, I do see the option for logic, but haven't explored it just yet.  Thanks for the answer.

    Any idea on where to begin with API Pages?  The Microsoft doc page tells what it's for but doesn't explain how to create one.
