Constant Scrap and Variable Scrap based on Production Order Quantity

Hi,

I am new to D365

Is it possible that we having different scrap factor based on Production Order?

Example on BOM where we have Child A and Child B, the scrap factor is depends on the Production Order quantity

If it is possible manage by D365, how does the Product Costing work?

    Hi,

    I think the only standard way would be to use step consumption for BOM line. It's not exactly controlling scrap for BOM line items but it will allow you to set up consumption of child items based on parent item order quantity: docs.microsoft.com/.../consumption

    I don't think so. For scrap rate, we can only define fix rate for each BOM lines.
