Posted Purchase Invoice / Fix Asset / Did not acquired asset

Hi

We have created about 6 purchase invoice for different fix asset. 4 of them worked well. For the other 2 owe can see the book value in fixed assets card but "acquired" field is "off". I could not find why 4 worked and the 2 others did not. I checked and compare them and all are similar.

Any idea or suggestion?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

A little hard to give you specific advice around this without having access to your data.

But i would recommend you start by looking at the FA ledger entries for the FA's in question and see what they tells you around the posting history.

    Hi Inge

Thanks for the response. When I check the Ledger Entries I can see the posting of purchase invoice. Even if I go to Fixed Asset card I can see the book value and if I click on that and the entries I can see all entries. But BC did not turned on "acquired" and did not populate the acquired date in the book (table 5612). It is really strange and I had no chance to duplicate it either.

Hi, It does seem a bit strange, so what happens if you post it directly in the FA G/L Journals?

    More details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/fa-how-acquire#to-post-a-fixed-asset-acquisition-manually-with-the-fixed-asset-gl-journal

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.
