Contract Management Module

Hi...

i'm using Contract management Module my problem is reports limitation my simple report something like

Contract number customer name contract amount recognized amount non recognized amount

any help...

    Here's a query to get you started.

    select CONTNBR 'Contract Number',Bill_To_Customer 'Customer Number',TOTAL 'Contract Amount',TOTBIL 'Recognized Amount' from SVC00600

    thanks a lot for your answer i already get the data from the database level i also create a view in the smartlist but, Is there any option to get same data from the reporting tool inside GP?? (Report Writer)

    Hi,

    What report are you looking for ? are you talking about the Field Service module or the Project Accounting module ? both use 'contracts'...  Many built-in reports from GP are rather dull... and often lack flexibility of content, that's why Microsoft built generic views for most GP modules starting with V 10.0.

    If you look under your Company Database in the Views, you should find 2 views called 'Contracts' and 'ContractLines'. Those should put you up in the driver's seat and get started with something you can use in Excel or SSRS.

    BTW, pre-cooked reports can be deployed out-of-of-the-box from your GP setup for each company as Excel or SSRS reports.. But the views are there anyway, with or without the deployed reports, so you can get started in no time with it. You can even use them with SmartList builder if you own that module.
