Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

Make data available to an external website.

Hi All

I have been asked to look at providing a very small subset of our On_Premise CRM2016 data available to an external site using RSS or XML.

As its none sensitive data there is no security needed, as long as only the data we want can be exported.

Any ideas?

Hi Wayne,

I think the easiest way to do this would be through integrating to your SQL Server and building a feed similar to what this article suggests:

You can use one of the Azure Services, possibly Azure Data Sync/SQL Sync, which replicates data from a SQL Server instance to an Azure SQL Server.

Take a look at the following link:

docs.microsoft.com/.../sql-database-get-started-sql-data-sync

You would then have to determine how to present that data to your users.
