Workflow to trigger if work done outside of normal business hours

I went to create a WF to trigger if a Service Activity contained work done outside of normal business hours today, but when i went to create it, I realized there is no (OOB) functionality to test for the Start Time of a Service Activity against a time of day.  It can only test against specific date/times.

Has anyone else run into this and have you found a solution?

    Thank you Alagu.  Ugh - this is what i was afraid of.  If JS and WF can't do it, a Plugin is only option left, and that's beyond my (current) abilities, so I'll have to put this one on the shelf for now - but thank you for the info.

    I'm wondering if a 3rd party utility might be able to handle this for me, since I'm not a coder.  North52 or something like that maybe?

    You have to write a plugin for service activity.

    Message Name:Update

    Primary Entity: your activity

    Operation: Pre-operation

    Logic:

    Check your task status is complete or not

    Retrieve working hours of current user (msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg327841.aspx)

    Check the task status modified time is out side of business hours

    Do your logic
