Hello,

Loading from the screens in CRM is very slow.

When i choose the item 'Dashboards' it takes approximately 7 seconds before this form is loaded.

Can somebody give me tips how i can make the form loading faster?

Maybe my IE settings are not optimal for CRM?

thanks for the help.

okay thanks for your quick anwser.

We allready have the lastest roll up installed.

    Hi,

Do you notice poor performance across all users and workstations?

If so, you may want to look at your auditing settings to what data you are collecting in terms of audits, large amounts of audit can slow your system.

If the problem just affects you as a user, then you are probably looking at IE based settings.  Do you use the outlook client at all?

    Regards

can you test if the user who is facing this issue from the client machine is also facing this issue from the CRM server or not . if not this is client side issue if facing the same issue form the server, its server side performance issue and troubleshooting approach will vary accordingly.

    Thanks,

    Mohammad

we have 2015 version and still ongoing issue .

load performance 3-5 second is NOK ..even Bing search reacts in 0.3 milli second.

what is the real reason ?

is there a delay buton with wrong value ? like HKEY delay timing

who can assist or have idea about new in this case

or it depends on share server constelation version ...we need our own server

    Web Application Level

1.) If this is onPrem, try setting omitVaryStar to true -> crmtipoftheday.com/.../if-form-load-is-slow-take-this-pill

    2.) Enable WCF Compression -> blogs.msdn.com/.../enable-wcf-compression-to-improve-crm-2013-network-performance.aspx

3.) Use Performance Centre (Ctrl+Shift+Q) to find out the source of the bottle necks -> http://www.magnetismsolutions.com/blog/gregolsen/2014/07/21/microsoft-dynamics-crm-performance-center-form-load-analysis

4.) Use Chrome DevTools Network trace to single out the slow requests

    DB Level

1.) Use SQL Server DMVs to isolate expensive queries and analyse whether you can improve performance using indexes -> blog.sqlauthority.com/.../sql-server-find-most-expensive-queries-using-dmv

You say you have the latest rollup. Does this mean you are on CRM 2013 SP1 UR2 ? You have not mentioned any versions anywhere. It would be useful to be able to give you clearer guidance if we knew details of:

CRM version, on-premises / online etc

    Client windows version

    Browser type and version

Outlook version and CRM client version (if performance issues seen in Outlook as well as browser).

Lots of performance settings are no longer relevant for later versions, such as IE's MaxConnectionsPerServer where the defaults are now higher than they used to be.

Network infrastructure is also very relevant - is the traffic going through a proxy server (perhaps in error), or firewall such as TMG? Is the client caching content correctly or fetching data every time?

Is you security model very complex? Does it also change very often - this can cause issues with caching user security information on the web server.

How is your CRM configured? Is this an all-in-one SQL/CRM setup or do you have multiple servers for multiple roles?

    thanks for quick replay.

    BUT

we work at the Moment with windows10 and IE11

the Point come up last week .

we was very fast under 0,5ms

my question was : Where is the boost button and where is the breack button in CRM

    we have Speed Gateway

in most cases we/ customer dont care about systems ongoing issue .

we are looking for quicktime Booster.

of Course i know there are endlos variables which has Impact ...

but more over i want to get answer like :

option > setting > reject all Settings ( clear Cache or what ever..bing System to best performance Position)

( very simple : we cant give our employees so mcu acces to figuare out best Settings or Play with variables )

I don't believe there is a quick a easy way attack this issue from the client side, and fix what could be a server or possibly a network issue. You are saying that this issue only came up very recently. You'll have to analyse what has changed in the server. Any new URs or SPs applied? Organisation settings or IIS settings changed?

Approach this problem step by step, and confirm that you have indeed done all the performance optimisations server side, before you try to troubleshoot the clientside slowness. If this slowness is happening only on a few machines consistantly and not on all of them, that you can approach the problem client-side first.

I can recommend this compilation of suggestions.

    https://dynamicsofdynamicscrm.wordpress.com/2015/01/07/useful-to-knowcrm-forms-loading-too-slow-check-out-this-useful-list/

Do not expect magic recommendations like Go to Settings - Server Delay and set value to 0 :-)

Overall performance is a result of this chain:

SQL Server, Dynamics CRM Server, network connection, client PC + number of specific customisations  like Onload actions, Jscripts on the form etc.
