Business Central Outsourcing productionorders - how to set the warehouse in advance for materials?

Posted on by 155

Can you help me?

I have an routingplan with a outsourced department. On the outsourcedwork center the vendor is linked. I also have a location linked there, it is a separate location (fo the vendor?)

In my routing link code (KN in this example) , I have linked the 2 material lines to the outsourced work center.

When I generate the productionorder all the component lines are being set on the main location (in this example "1"). The 2 material lines for the outsourced workcenter are needed on the outsourced location (in this example "UW3").

How can I set up BC to set the right warehouse automatically for each component line in the production order?

Thank you in advance!!

Kind regards,

Brutus

    Hello,

If you do not get further traction on this one, then you may want to consider raising a support ticket to Microsoft support via your CSP.

    Thanks.
