Clone Survey in Voice of the Customer (VoC) does not work anymore

We have a problem when trying to clone a survey in VoC in CRM Online; the message bar indicates that the cloning process started, but unfortunately no new survey appears in the list. In the past this worked well and I can't figure out what has changed. For this moment we use the workaround to import an existing survey, that works all fine.

There is no error in the VoC log, and all other functions (like publishing) work fine.

Is there anyone who knows how the cloning process actually works? Is this some sort of process that is started in the background? And does anyone have a clue where to search for the solution?

We use VoC in two languages (Dutch, English) by the way. I found a lot of other language based issues, so that might be part of the solution.

Many thanks in advance!

Are you copying a Survey more than once? If Yes, follow the following approach.

    1. Copy the survey from the first one. Now, you have Original Survey and Copy of Original Survey.

    2. Now, copy the 'Copy of Original Survey', not the Original Survey. So, you have Original Survey, Copy of Original Survey and Copy of Copy of Original Survey.

Every survey can be copied once only. (This is what I learn through experience, no documentation restricted it)

P.S. Overwrite = No while copying.

    Thanks Zohaib,

Not the solution, but it helped solve my problem. Somehow you shouldn't change the name of the survey before cloning it again. The name of the XML file in the notes field (Survey Stored <Name>.xml) must be equal to the name of the Survey for a successful clone. At least in a multi-lingual environment.

    Cheers,

    Elowy.
