Customer Classes?

Hi:

I hope that this question makes sense.

Does Business Central offer "customer classes", where you can specify characteristics of such a class and have changes to the class "roll down" to customers in that class?

So we saying customer class would be a field? It sounds a little bit like the profile questionnaire feature on contacts. You then use the answers to build up segments of contacts for campaigns. To do it with customers would be custom

Hi John,

Just curious. Are you referring to "Customer Classes" like you have in Dynamics GP? If so I think "Templates" is the equivalent in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

For example when creating new customers you can save a "Template" of (some) default settings to a template:

Then when you create a new customer you can apply that template i.e.

I don't think you can change the template and roll down the changes though like you can in Dynamics GP.
