Hi Community,

I created the same fields to transfer from Job to job archive, but when I try to archive this message appears:

but these fields are the same in both tables. Do you know what is happening?
Job & Job Archive

If you know how I can fix it, I would appreciate it.
Thank you very much.
I have the same question (0)

Except for some special fields, the standard uses the TransferFields method, so are the ids different?

    Thanks.

    There are the error details:
The problem is the line  does not allow to populate our custom fields on job archive management codeunit, inclusive if you try to flow with the available event subscribers do not work. This is a system bug for our development.  The only solution that i have now, is emulate creating another codeunit with skip the transferfields but its wasting time because you need to adding all Job system and custom fields.

In case, if you have another solution please let me know, I would appreciate it.

I tried to emulated the codeunit 5139 job archive management to skip the Jobarchive.transferfield(Job), it is work with my custom fields but the problem is Microsoft linked this command Jobarchive.transferfield(Job) with delete Job button. Therefore we can allow customize field from Job table ext to Job Archive table ext.

Hi, I suspect your other customizations affect this, I tested it briefly and there was no problem. You can test it in a completely new environment.

    Thanks

Hi Yun Zhu thank you for your answer. I found the problem in this case to transfer field we need to have the same ID Number field to allow it.

For example in your case ID 50000 for both fields.
