I have recently started looking into one D365 online CRM instance which has been cloned/copied from another D365 online instance so wondering if someone can please confirm the if the below issue could have caused because of such copy/cloning. And whether simply updating these numeric values with the actual name is enough to fix the issue?.

 ----------

Issue: The GUID style numeric values appearing instead of the actual name for "Team Name" and "Business Unit" (as per the screenshot here).  These values can be checked by going to “Settings” > “Security” > “Teams”

Look forward to hear if you have experienced above issue and what’s the best way to resolve it??. Thanks in advance.

    hi,

If the copy or restore completed successfully without any error the names should appear by default. It would be better if you try the copy one more time and validate.

Thanks Soumen. Sorry I didn’t understand that it should appear properly by default.

So if I have got the below value in source (in the UAT site):

    Team name: ABC

    BU name: ABCUAT

    -----------

So should I see the same names after copy in the destination (as below)?

    Team name: ABC

    BU name: ABCUAT

if so then I would like to rename ABCUAT to ABCDev for BU Name in destination instance (acting as a Dev site). Can you suggest a way to rename the BU Name (i.e. root BU Name) as it seems you can do so via UI ??.
