Excel Add-in Not Working in BC On-Prem 21.0.53597.53794

Hello Business Central community!

I've recently attempted adding the Excel Add-in to multiple server instances in on-prem v21.0.53597.53794 and came across an error I'd never seen in the multiple installations I've done. Even after following the setup guide multiple times.

The issue is: any time we select "Edit in Excel" everything appears normal but then when signing into the Add-in, it will either freeze Excel completely or throw this error:

Error Loading Metadata

Details:

Please check server connection, verify the current user has proper access, and try again. Error message: ''

I've verified every user we've attempted this with is configured with their appropriate AAD login in the Authentication Email field of their user record. All OData settings look correct with SSL set to true where it needs to be.

What we see in the event log is the same three messages thrown a few times:

The third of which is very strange since the user records all line up appropriately.

Anyone have any ideas out there?
