Does anyone know if 2009 can sit on any new server environments?

We have an old DB, which cannot be upgraded, but we need to store the data

Any ideas please

Hello, I cannot make guarantees, but for me NAV2009 still runs OK on a Win10. What I would do in your case, assuming that this is a Native database, make a backup from the client (Tools -> Backup). Then using the SQL client finsql.exe, create a new database on SQL Server, then restore the backup. If I remember correctly, a backup from a Native database can be restored into the SQL Option. Once you have the database on SQL Server, then you will have access to the data for as long as SQL Server exists.
