This pops up when converting a Sales quote to an order, why is that and how can we stop the pop up? :)

    Hi,

Is this standard or custom and which localized version you are using.

Please share insights, Document that you created, and we will try to replicate the issue.

    Hello Kelly,

I simulated this case on BC SaaS latest version and it is not a native behavior of BC for sure.
Also I tried on demo database on BC 21 on-prem and there also I did not get any pop-up beside native confirmation Do you want to convert the quote to an order? Yes/No, form after clicking on Make Order action.

I doubted that you were entering the Location code on the header of Sales quote and the location on the lines is blank, but I tried that case too, but did not get any pop-up.

In that case, maybe a pop-up would have some meaning. As Saurav said, that is probably some localization behaviour, but however, write us more information and we will try to help.
    Greetings

    Hi there :)

Yes they do not populate location when creating the sales quote as I believe they copy another doc to populate the lines so would be too time consuming for them to add, they remove qtys to assemble and this is added later, I was wondering if it had something to do with assembly orders having a location so when you go to convert it notices those have locations so asks if you want to update location code on your quote to match maybe maybe? I'm not sure, I'm new to dynamics.

    Kind regards, Kelly

Thank you :) So unless they select the location to match the assemblies location they will get a pop up, I wonder if the assemblies location can be left blank and then it won't conflict?
