Employee Maintenance in GP2013 question

In GP10, we had an option on the menu between 'Tools' and 'Help' - it was named 'Additional' and we used this field.  The 'Additional' option has disappeared in GP2013 - I can see that the table is still there (via SQL) - does any one have the magic button hidden somewhere?

    Deanne,

    That Additional option usually is for features in GP beyond the core modules such Safe Pay, Analytical Accounting, etc.  It may also be used by third party products.  

    If possible review the DYNAMICS.SET file from each instance and look for any differences where a module in GP10 is not in GP2013.

    Ok so far - can you tell me what the Extender does?  It was in dynamics.set for GP 10 but not in GP 2013

    Deanne,

    Extender is an Additional Feature developed by eOne.  It allows you to add fields, windows and other information to virtually any window within Dynamics.  It had been licensed by Microsoft for distribution several versions ago.  With GP2013, the licensing of Extender moved away from Microsoft and back to eOne.  You need to contact your partner, they should have arranged moving your Extender license to eOne.  eOne's ip address is http://www.eonesolutions.com/  You will need to contact them because you will need to download the product and get new reg keys for Extender to work.
