There was a misprint on the POS 2009 FP1 page, this has been corrected. The actual version number for POS 2009 FP1 is 3.00.1046.0.
Here are the supported Operating Systems for POS 2K9 FP1:
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Professional Edition or higher Service Pack 1 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Microsoft® Windows Vista® Business Edition or higher Service Pack 2 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 Service Pack 2 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Note - Installation on a Domain Controller is not supported
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2003 Service Pack 2 or later (32-bit only)
Note - Installation on a Domain Controller is not supported
Microsoft® Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 or later (32-bit only)
Microsoft® Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 Service Pack 3 or later (32-bit only)
We don't sell/support/endorse POS2k9, but I think its the Feature Pack 1 released in June/July 2011, 3.00.1042.0
