I need to create an interest note for an invoice that has finally been paid.  We are using the following calculation:  invoice amount x 7% / 365 * days late = interest fee.  How do I set up the interest codes and properly set the parameters to create an interest note?

    Hi,

Regarding your request to create an interest note for an invoice that has already been paid is feasible

According to the official Microsoft documentation, you can create an interest note by following these steps.

The link to the documentation is as follows

In addition, the following official Microsoft document details how to Set up interest rates for an interest code and provides three examples: percentage based, amount based and range based.
