Any way to increase the 5000-item fetch limit in CRM Online?

There are sources that explain how to increase this limit in an on-premise instance (for example here).

However, I need to know whether a client of the Online version of CRM (now called Dynamics 365) is able to change this limit for their Online instance.

Any knowledge on this would be appreciated.

    Hi Michel,

    To answer the question, I would say, no.  You could try to create a support ticket with Microsoft, but it's unlikely that they would.  But give it a go anyway.  I know Microsoft support can increase other limits such as custom entity limit.

    In saying that, it is possible to workaround this limitation.  Please check out below articles.

    Hi

    It is not possible to increase the fetch limit in CRM online. You have to raise ticket to Microsoft

    Or you have to adjust your code like below

    After you retrieve the account using fetchXML ONSuccess method in javascript

    Function OnRetrieveAccountSuccess(records)

    {

     if (records.__next != null) {

           var url = records.__next;

           GetAccountRecords(url);

       }

    }

    Hi Michel,

    You can raise a ticket to Microsoft and tell them your export limit like 150000 and they will do it for you.

    Here's another way:

    What version of CRM Online you are using?

    From CRM 2015 update 1 onwards you can export 100,000 records

    Thanks Prashant. This is in fact about using FetchXML to get more than 5000 items at a time. But I appreciate the tip anyway.
