Is there any alternative in V9 for Dynamics 365 Set Process Action for Switch Business Process Flow?

In Dynamics 365 After V9 Upgrade, SetProcess Action was Deprecated. Below is screenshot of that.

We can do same thing using Java script. but it's not good solution for Us. Is there any alternative solution provided by Microsoft after V9 Upgrade for Switch Business Process Flow?

Hi Mayur,

You can create a workflow on the base entity of the business process flow itself to set the active stage.

See example at blogpost: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../automate-business-process-flow-stages-using-workflows

Hi

BPF creates its own entity and stores all the data in that. So you cant use the classic SetProcess to switch anymore. You have to follow different steps to switch process.

01. First you need to create a BPF record and then associate that to the record and also set the active stage. Please see the detail and link below

"Create a business process flow entity record (process instance) programmatically if you want to switch to another business process flow for an entity record without using the UI."
