HI, I am trying to run this report & am getting no data returned

Hi,

Sorry for any confusion till now.. i am referring to this page:

Please clarify what is the production type selected here? Just put the Item id in the criteria, nothing else.

Is the report coming blank even if you are not giving any criteria?

Thank you CA Neeraj Kumar, I add that criteria to the query but still get no records. This is a bit of a mystery as to why I can't get anything in this report

Hi,

Just for one testing.. Can you change the Production type to "None" And then try as it worked for me.. This is just to eliminate the reason why report is coming blank..

Thank you CA Neeraj Kumar & Syed Haris Shah for your quick replies!!

I have run the report again using Default Order Type as Blank & unfortunately I still get no data in my report.

I tried again with "Purchase Order" which is the default on the product - no luck with that either no data.

I also tried Show Bom Lines rather than Versions & get no result.

Hi,

As @CA Neeraj pointed out. Could you please also check the Default order settings for the item? If the Default order type is not set to Production, the Where-used report may not return results because the system doesn’t treat the item as a production component.

You can verify this by going to:
Released product > Manage inventory > Default order settings and reviewing the Default order type. If it’s set to Purchaser, try switching it to Production and rerun the report.

Hi,

It is happening due to the filter given in Record to Include.

You have selected , production type = "Production", keep it blank, it will work for you.

The item 10038259 which you have taken in Filter will not have same production type as "Production", just validate from Released products.
