Hi All,

I would like to copy a value from a calculated field to be stored into another field however i cannot do this via workflows or business rules?

Has anybody been able to do this via JavaScript (unfortunately i am not a developer) and provide me with any examples if this is possible.

Thanks.

    Hi,

I think you can access the fields, you just can't set up a workflow trigger to user that field. Is this what you want? If yes, it's just impossible..

However, you can probably set up a trigger on all the field which are affecting the calculated field. Most likely, when you access your calculated field in that workflow, it'll hold correct value (since calculated fields are recalculated as needed whenever they are retrieved)
