RE: How to configure dynamics 365 push notification for phone

    Hi Sakib,

We have an application ‘Alerts4Dynamics’ that helps you in your use case. Alerts4Dynamics is a productivity app to create, schedule, and manage alerts for different entities in Dynamics 365. You can notify your team or any target audience with the necessary information right within the CRM.

With Alerts4Dynamics, you can create Alerts for the newly created task and send those to target users as an email this will work the same as a push notification. From email notification you will be able to access the task in Dynamic CRM 365 and based on your mailbox app setting you would be able to see the notification on Mobile.

Some of the key features of Alerts4Dynamics are as follows –

    • Create Announcement, Rule-Based/Record-Based and Event-based alerts
    • Alerts can be viewed as pop-ups, form notifications, or sent as email not only to users but also to the customers
    • Alerts levels can be categorized as Information, Warning or Critical
    • View the log of alerts read/dismissed by users
    • Add start/expiration dates for all alerts
    • Alerts can be configured to be shown to a particular set of audiences as well as for dynamic audiences
    • Related records can also be added for Notification and Email audiences
    • Provision to set up preferences to receive alert notifications as per user’s choice
    • Provision to configure the alerts as dismissible/non-dismissible
    • Provision to configure the alerts as auto-dismissible/non-auto dismissible

You can know more about Alerts4Dynamics from our website and Docs.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sakib,

You can fill ‘link’ with the link of the new task you created, but if you want to generate task record link in the flow, you need do some other operations before ‘push notification’ step.

The ‘link label’ you can fill value as you want, it just show label of the link for the user, just like ‘clcik here’ in following screenshot:

     4743.pastedimage1607673717857v1.png

You can refer following link to generate task record url in the flow.

But the component of the record url is different between old and new version:

    Old:

    https://d365demystified.com/2020/06/13/generate-dynamics-365-record-link-in-a-flow-using-cds-connector-power-automate/

    New:

    http://linnzawwin.blogspot.com/2020/01/power-automate-find-out-how-to-include.html

    https://365community.online/generate-dynamics-url-of-a-record-in-power-automate-flow-uci-microsoft-dynamics-365-crm-youtube?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=generate-dynamics-url-of-a-record-in-power-automate-flow-uci-microsoft-dynamics-365-crm-youtube

Or you can create new field in task, After that, create a workflow that trigger on create of task, update the field with Record URL. Then after that, you can easily use MS flow with that field.

    1.old version:

You can directly get url from ‘Record Url(Dynamic)’.

    2.New version:

A tool collection that is very useful that returns a complete record url within the app itself.

    https://github.com/demianrasko/Dynamics-365-Workflow-Tools

There are two, one is Get App Module ID and another is "Get App Record URL".
