SRS Historical AP Aging doesn't match GP report

I have had no luck in getting the SRS version of the Historcial Aged Trial Balance report to tie to the canned version in GP.  We are running 2010 SP3, and this is a brand new installation.  Has anyone been able to get these 2 report to match??

Are you running the two versions of these reports with the exact same parameters? How much difference is there? If you narrow it down to a single vendor and then down to the transactions that are different does this reveal any clues?

Exact same parameters.  The difference is the fact that the SRS version completely ignores the Age as date and the Use GL Posting date.  I am curious who else has tried to use these for customers and actually gotten them to work.  It isn't the first SRS report I have found an issue with.  I have the Trial Balance as a bug with Microsoft but of course no fix date.  Seems ridiculous that these reports have been out for so long and yet they don't actually match what the GP reports show.

Do you have the option Select Transactions for Report Using? That is what allows for selection of GL Posting or Document Date. If you do and you print the report with one date and then print it again for the other date, are you getting the same results?

Thanks Richard.  I have been consulting on GP for about 15 years - so I completely understand your questions :).  I am really just tryng to find if anyone has actually gotten results to match.  Everytime I run the report the setting on whether to use the GL date or Doc date, and the Print as of date - have no impact on the results.  I have many customers who have come off of oracle that just want a report that easily goes to Excel.  Well GP has that - excpet these SRS reports don't match the GP ones.  I will certainly be looking for the SRS guys next week :)

Can anyone from Microsoft chime in on this? I suppose you could go into BIDS and look at this report. It sounds like the field for the date parameter is not set up correctly.

I thought of that too - but I have Multi Entity Managment installed as well and their SRS reports are based on the GP versions.  They wont fix unless a fix comes from microsft - UGH, the 3rd party/microsoft circle :)  I am going to hunt someone down in New Orleans!!  will be their next week?
