Requisitions Purchasing Action missing

Hey everyone,

I have a R2 deployment where the user 'power user' cannot transfer the requisition to a PO.  The Action 'Purchase' is not in the list.

This has to be configuration but I cannot find the option to turn it on.

Can the user even look up the Req? The reason I ask is because by default the user is only able to see a Req if they are the person who requested it.

    Hello Jason

I may look for few things which could be related to this issue

    • What is the user type, full or limited ? a limited user doesn't have the full functionality in the requisition management
    • If you go to Purchase Order Processing Setup > Requisition > Display requisition during entry for (Requested by or all requisition). If the first option is checked, then the user will not the see the pending requisition/purchase order
    • The last thing to check is the workflow steps configured and the user involvement within

Let us know if this is not resolved yet.

Mahmoud M. AlSaadi - I see this hasn't been marked as resolved yet and I have the same issue.  I see the last thing to check is the configuration of the workflow, but I don't understand the remark about the involvement of the user.  This user is the AP Clerk and really has no approval rights in workflow.  Do they need to be listed as the workflow manager in order to "Purchase" the requisition?

    Thank you,

    Susan
