Is there a way to configure an item's tracking dimension to Allow Blank Receipt for Serial number but will require the serial number during issuance?
We are using basic inventory management function during product receiving from PO using a receipts list and I don't have any issue receiving the item without serial number.
The screenshot below shows one of the tracking dimension I configured to try to achieve the requirement.
However I have the issue when trying to register the picking list to complete the picking process for the sales order, it says that I cannot pick the inventory in the warehouse because it has 0 inventory.
Now what I did is to create a new tracking dimension with the following setup:
The same thing happens when I try to register the picking list, so I configured warehouse related setups and I was able to capture the requirement of serial during issuance using the mobile device however advanced warehouse is not part of the scope.
Is there any way I can achieve "Blank receipt for serial but require it during issuance" using basic inventory management function?
