Data Exchange Definition - csv output - speech marks

Hi

I am working to create a payment export file (simple csv format) using Data Exchange Definitions.  I have used details from this post:

https://community.dynamics.com/business/f/dynamics-365-business-central-forum/314580/how-to-export-data-to-csv-files/912977#912977

But the problem I have is the speech marks in the resulting file.  Because the file is to be imported into the bank, we don't open it using Excel - because Excel is rather smart and does things like drop leading zeros.  I have tested the output file - and without intervention, the bank rejects the file.  If I open the file in notepad and remove the speech marks, it imports into the bank perfectly.  Anyone know how to set it up so no speech marks?

Cheers

Heather

    Hi Heather,

As mentioned by aotto this can be resolved by changing the Field Deliminator property on the XML Port that you are using as for variable text it is set to use the "" as separators. This is simple to do if you are using NAV and have access to the developer environment or via AL if using Business Central.

    Hope this helps.
