Enabling Learning Path Breaks CRM in Edge & Internet Explorer

Hello,

I'm preparing a client demo of the learning path functionality with a view to encouraging them to leverage in a forthcoming deployment (September 2018).

I've set up a vanilla environ, created a custom home side bar, and been testing the features. When I came to test it across different browsers, I found that while it worked in Chrome, enabling Learning Path actually made CRM unusable in either Edge or IE11.
